The PYP Exhibition is the culminating inquiry project for the Primary Years Program and the students have been using all of their skills to pursue an independent inquiry on a topic of interest. ITEMS: Class of 2022 - University results update. Principal's Message Dear HIS Community Just a short message today to wish you all a safe and relaxing Golden Week. We are in the middle of our Sports Day at the moment. This is the first time in three years that we have been able to hold the Sports Day due to COVID restrictions so we are very happy to be here running, jumping, throwing and all those other wonderful sporting events. We recently featured the Middle Years Program (MYP) Personal Project Exhibition and the Diploma Program (DP) Theory of Knowledge Exhibition so you can see that this idea of personal inquiry leading to an interactive presentation of learning is an essential part of all of our IB programs. Yesterday, our Grade 6 class travelled to Miyoshi to find out a little bit more about our local histories as part of an interdisciplinary unit inquiring into Japanese and Individuals & Societies. It sounds like they had a great trip. I would like to wish our Gr12 students the best of luck as they move into a short independent study period before the IB Diploma Program exams start on the 28th of April and then continue for a few weeks. Principal's Message Dear HIS Community It is an important day for our Grade 10 students with the Middle Years Program (MYP) Exhibition. The Personal Project involves students applying all of the skills they have developed over the years in the MYP to an extended independent inquiry leading to this presentation.
