As Hiroshima Prefecture will be included in the State of Emergency that is being called, we will continue to be extremely cautious and make adjustments to our events in order to make our campus as safe as possible while we continue to provide on-campus classes to all of our students. If the situation further deteriorates, we have made preparations for a switch to online learning but are hoping that…

Principal's Message Dear HIS Community I hope you have all had some time to enjoy those beautiful sakura blossoms. As we move through the year the Covid situation has been constantly changing although changing in a predictable way it seems and there has been much talk of the fourth wave where we are expecting an increase in the number of cases around Japan. Hopefully, everyone across Japan will be very careful At HIS we are still operating with our regular health guidelines that have been used throughout this pandemic. Of course, as time goes by we tend to return to more familiar ways so I would just like to remind everyone that we still need to be…

Principal's Message Dear HIS Community I hope everyone is getting an opportunity to enjoy those beautiful cherry blossoms which I believe have been in full bloom in Hiroshima since yesterday. When we were not enjoying beautiful sakura blossoms this week, we were enjoying the wide variety of HIS Idol Performances. Many thanks to Jackie and Mr Washington for all of the work that went into HIS Idol, a wonderful event that took many, many unseen hours of digital work…

Principal's Message Dear HIS Community Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held at school next week on Friday. We look forward to seeing you all there. There are some notes about the day below. The IB programs' focus on inquiry places the child firmly at the centre of the learning process.
