Your support of our online💻 learning was fantastic. Helping students get comfortable with digital tools is a vital skill for their future, and we appreciate your partnership in this.
The PYP Exhibition is moving forward with great momentum! Our students are working with faculty mentors to explore their inquiries, and we can’t wait to see the results of their research.
Our EC/KG students have been amazing engineers, building bridges 🚅🚎🚢🚆🛫🌉and tackling challenges with incredible creativity. It’s been so much fun to watch their ideas come to life!
International 🌍 Month preparations are in full swing! 3/4 Ron has set a wonderful example with their Jordan display. We encourage you to visit your child’s classroom and see what they’re creating.

Counselor’s Corner Update! 🌟
This week, we continued our conversations on Empathy and Kindness across PYP and MYP. PYP students have been expressing kindness through posters and storytelling, while MYP students have completed their projects for the SEL Assembly. Their campaigns, videos, and initiatives are ready to go—stay tuned for the new date for the assembly, as it was postponed due to my recent absence. I appreciate everyone’s patience and enthusiasm, and look forward to seeing the final results!

We hope that you got a chance to enjoy the snowy weather this week! We have just a few reminders as we head into the month of March tomorrow.
Last weekend’s weather at the seaside was perfect for training for the Miyajima Marathon! If you have signed up to participate in the race (3/30) please reach out to us so that we can get connected.
International Festival is coming! As mentioned last week, the school has sent out emails containing the forms to sign up to volunteer, a form about childcare for volunteers, and information about raffle donations. Please sign up at your earliest convenience. If you haven’t received these emails or have any questions, please reach out to us by email.
Thank you to Sun Park (Grade 8) for creating the International Festival poster that will be used for 2025. The inspiring design will be revealed soon.
White Day in Japan is often celebrated as Pi Day (3.14) in the US! We will be on spring break on this date, so we will be hosting a Math Night on a different evening in March. More information is coming soon so that you can mark your calendars. You won’t want to miss this fun family event!
