What an incredible week at HIS! Our 5th graders captivated us with an amazing assembly on Ancient Life. It was truly inspiring!

Our ECKG and Grade 1/2 parents enjoyed a wonderful coffee morning, thanks to the efforts of Ms. K and Mayaso-sensei.

A special shout-out to our Secondary students who successfully conquered camp without their phones! (Well, mostly!) They cooked, cleaned, set up tents, hiked, played games, and even conquered the Forest Adventure! It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved.

We couldn’t have done it without the dedication of our Secondary Teachers. Thank you to the PTA for boiling eggs and providing extra snacks. It’s amazing to be part of such a supportive community at HIS!

We are saddened that Ms. Shefali is leaving HIS to take on the exciting role of Principal at a school in Shanghai. We wish her all the best in her new position. Thank you, Ms. Shefali, for your wonderful contributions to our school community over the past two years.

We are pleased to announce that Lara Subeh a Social Emotional Counselor will be joining HIS starting in November. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is a crucial component of our students’ development. SEL helps students and adults develop essential skills for academic success, fulfilling careers, healthy relationships, and responsible citizenship.

Enjoy the Fall Break! You deserve it!!!! See you in a week!

12th Graders: Take this week to rest and recharge. Prioritize completing your college applications.

11th Graders: Get some much-needed sleep and start tackling your reading and DP work. What upcoming deadlines do you need to focus on?

10th Graders: Enjoy some rest and dedicate time to your Personal Project. What progress have you made? What can you do to move forward?

K-9th Graders: Have a fun-filled week! Spend time with family playing board games, reading, and exploring your local area. When you return to school, be ready to share your adventures. Did you visit a museum or go on a bike ride?
