From the PTA:
Happy October!
It is finally starting to feel like autumn, and it is certainly starting to look like Halloween at HIS. A huge thank you to all of the parents that came out to help with the decorations! The school looks great and the kids will enjoy the festive feeling.
Another huge thank you to everyone who has sent in a candy or snack donation! We have quite a few already, but could still use more to make the carnival extra fun. The fabulous donation box was created by one of our very crafty PTA moms. You can let your children toss snack donations into the pumpkin’s mouth and ring the bells. The back of the box has “thank you” written in many languages. Check to see if yours is there!
The girls volleyball team will have their final HIS game this Wednesday, October 9th. Please come out and cheer them on!
We have sent out our volunteer sign up sheet for the Halloween Carnival this week. The more people we have helping, the more fabulous it will be for our kids. Please sign up below to volunteer if you can!
For snack packing, light meal preparation, and TRUNK or TREAT volunteering, please enter your name in the designated space on the Google Spreadsheet (link in email / Toddle)

Mark your calendars, Wednesday, October 16th is the date of our next PTA general meeting. We will be meeting in Mr. Gavin Smith’s room at 9am. Please join us at the school or on Zoom. We hope to see you there!
