After a week of illness infiltrating our community, life returned to normal this past week.
Frigid temperatures and snow graced the campus. Students enjoyed playing in the fresh snow.
We had a lively PE Assembly with students and teachers displaying their talents. It is said that a famous unicyclist even showed up. It is also possible that Mr Chris performed a headstand. You will only know if you access the HIS Photo Gallery link below.
Finally, we capped the week off with an exciting basketball game featuring our HIS Wolves and MC Perry. Cheerleaders appeared in record numbers sporting some crazy hair! Thank you to our wonderful PTA parents for providing food and drinks after the match! It was a battle of the titans with our Wolves led by captain Ryoma taking the game right down to the wire! The competition level was superb.

From the PTA Wolfpack
A big thank you to G9 for their hard work baking this week. They did a great job!
Wolfpack Shop will be on Monday, Jan. 29, and Tuesday, Jan. 30. An assortment of snacks and sandwiches ranging from 100-200¥. Please remember to send your children money if you would like them to purchase snacks.
Our first General Meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 9:00. We will be discussing budget and upcoming events, especially the International Fair. We hope to see you there. If you would like to attend through Zoom, please let us know.
Reminder that Hot Lunch order forms are due Wednesday, Jan. 31. Hot lunch will be on Monday, Feb. 5. We are offering TWO options this time. 3 sizes of Chicken Curry OR Chicken Curry with a Chicken Cutlet! Small orders will be a sweet chicken curry and Medium/Large orders is a medium/hot curry.
Valentine’s Day is coming and we are excited! This year for Valentine’s we are selling treat bags. For the PYP students we will be offering Treat Bags for pre-order. You can order them for individuals or for the whole class. They are 100¥ each. Order envelopes should be coming home next week, they are due Wednesday, Feb. 7. We will deliver them to the students on Feb.13 so they can hand them out to friends on Valentine’s Day.
Secondary students can purchase treat bags at our Wolfpack shop on Feb.13 & 14th. There will be the normal snacks and sandwiches along with special Valentine’s treats that students can buy for themselves or others.
