It has been a challenging week in terms of health for our HIS community. Close to 50% of our students were absent and many teachers were also affected. All classes will resume on Monday, though some families may still be in recovery. To everyone, please get well soon!
Good luck to our DP students as they move into Mock Exams this week. As well, we hope to reschedule our basketball game against MC Perry. Please stay tuned on that front.
The PTA Wolfpack continues to stir up excitement and a full slate of events is about to come your way. The aroma of muffins and curry is in the air as they prepare their next delicious events!

From the PTA Wolfpack
This Thursday, Jan 25, G9 will be baking chocolate chip muffins for the Bake Sale. If you are interested in helping the students bake on Thursday from 9:00 – 14:00 please reach out to Lindsae or email us at pta@hiroshima-is.ac.jp. Please remember to bring your aprons!
The Bake sale will be on Friday, Jan 26. Muffins will be 100￥ a piece. Please send your child in with money if you would like them to have a Chocolate Chip muffin or two.
Wolfpack Shop will be on Monday, Jan 29, and Tuesday, Jan 30. An assortment of snacks and sandwiches ranging from 100-200¥. Please remember to send your children money if you would like them to purchase snacks or sandwiches, 500¥ limit.
Our first General Meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, Jan 31, at 9:00. We will be discussing budget and upcoming events, especially the upcoming International Fair. We hope to see you there. If you would like to attend through Zoom, please let us know.
Finally- Order forms for the next Hot Lunch will be going out this week. Hot lunch will be on Monday, Feb. 5. We are offering TWO options this time. 3 sizes of Chicken Curry OR Chicken Curry with a Chicken Cutlet! Small orders will be a sweet chicken curry and Medium/Large orders is a medium/hot curry.
